BRIDAL ALTERATIONS
Dear Bride-to-be,
The wedding gown alterations process begins about 6-9 weeks before your event or travel date. I like to conduct two-three fittings during that time. Because I typically book up well in advance, I encourage you to book your appoitment as soon as you can.

You will receive a relaxed and private experience in my design studio and the highest quality workmanship in your gown. Whether you need standard alterations, a complete resize, or redesign, there are no limits. I take great care to communicate all information about your gown, itemized alterations, and an a la carte pricing model that keeps YOU in control.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At your first fitting appointment, we will begin with an informal consult. We will spend some time talking through your vision for the dress. This is when you can tell me the details of the wedding day, and share what concerns you have with the dress itself.
An itemized price estimate will be provided. Standard alterations range $600-$900 while more intricate reconstructions/alterations and redesigns typically cost $1,000+ Read reviews here.
SCHEDULING
For basic alterations, book the first fitting 6-9 weeks prior to the wedding date. The final fitting will be scheduled 1-2 weeks from the wedding date, to ensure a perfect fit. Wedding dresses require 3 fittings- this allows for a more relaxed experience. For gown reconstruction, or major alterations, booking 3-4 months out from the wedding date is recommended.

Invite your family or bridal party to celebrate your gown at your final fitting! Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Use this time to piece together your accessories and bridal look!
CUSTOM VEILS, GARTERS AND KEEPSAKES
Choose the veil shape, length and embellishments to match your gown and unique style. Custom embroidery available. Keepsakes can be made from your own dress remnants or family heirlooms. Popular keepsakes include purses, robes, garters etc.
DAY-OF STYLING AND COORDINATING
Why do celebrities bring their wardrobe specialists to photoshoots and red carpet events? Your wedding aisle is your red carpet. Bring a designer to ensure everything is perfect for when it really matters.
REDESIGN & CUSTOMIZATIONS
You don't have to be limited, bring your inspiration and trust your designer to bring it to life.
CUSTOM EMBROIDERY
Custom embroidery can be done directly on your veil or gown, or a keepsake patch can be made from meaningful fabric. Pick your favorite color, your wedding color or even "something blue."
BRIDESMAID AND MOTHER OF THE BRIDE ALTERATONS

FAQ
HOW MUCH WILL MY ALTERATIONS COST?
Standard alterations range from $500-$850. Each appointment is $50. Any extras, customizations and redesigns will increase the cost.
WHAT IF I PLAN ON LOSING WEIGHT?
Once alterations begin, it's recommended for the bride to maintain her measurements to avoid further alteration expenses. The standard recommended time frame for alterations is 6-9 weeks. An expedited time line of 3-5 weeks may be accommodated for brides who are pregnant or will be fluctuating in measurements. Expedited alterations will be provided upon availability and will incur a rush fee proportional to the amount of time provided to complete the work.
HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS WILL I HAVE?
2-3 one-hour sessions inside 6-9 weeks. This timeframe will be arranged based on the preferences you've given. My appointment/fitting days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
CAN A SPECIFIC ALTERATION ON MY GOWN BE DONE?
I make gowns from scratch, so I can redesign anything. Although it's very rare, if your request lends itself to be a more intricate job, I will invite you in for an in person consultation.
