See how the torso is fitted to your body precisely, addressing factors like boning, seam count, and delicate fabrics that require precision. Aga ensures your gown provides the flawless shape and support you need.

Extreme Resizing & Rebuild: The dress was reduced by a massive 8 inches, requiring the entire skirt to be dismantled and rebuilt to maintain the perfect symmetry of the lace and zipper.
Total Torso Transformation: This gown required extensive taking-in and a complete internal rebuild. The original foam cups were removed, and the sheer side panels were resized flawlessly to establish a flattering lift and maintain ideal proportions.
Custom Corset Expansion: When a dress is too small, a custom corset expansion is the elegant solution. This one was crafted and color-matched perfectly to the original gown, allowing for a comfortable and beautiful fit.

Foundations and Vertical Proportion
Adding Structure

This specialized service focuses on the internal architecture of the gown, which is Aga's signature. It includes adding boning, integrating inner corsets, and rebuilding the structural integrity of the gown to prevent drooping. Aga also adjusts the vertical proportions of the bodice by lengthening or shortening it, which often creates a visible slimming and elongating effect for the bride.

Internal Slimming Structure: New boning was added to nearly every seam, transforming the dress by creating an invisible built-in lift. The result is a smooth, contoured, and immediately slimming silhouette.

Torso Elongation: The entire gown was deconstructed to replace internal boning with longer channels, successfully elongating the torso by two inches. Custom lace additions were made to the seams, achieving a dramatically slimmer profile without visible alterations.
Portrait Neckline & Support: The front view shows the dramatic result of the bodice extension and support. The droopy sleeves are corrected to form a beautiful portrait neckline that provides support and prevents the dress from cutting into the body.

This is where Aga's design expertise shines. Whether you want to add sleeves, raise a neckline, or completely restyle the back, she can execute virtually any creative vision. As a designer, Aga can sew/make anything you envision—there are no limits.

Innovative Detachable Illusion Sleeves: Custom-made illusion sleeves designed to match the bride's skin tone exactly. These are made removable using a self-developed separating zipper technique—an Agadesal innovation.
Sleeve Volume & Reshaping: Sleeves were completely detached, shortened, and the volume was strategically reduced. A new custom cuff was created, ensuring the lace placement was most flattering for the arm.
Custom Fabric Sourcing: Detachable cap sleeves created using gathered netting sourced to perfectly match the color and material of the skirt, proving no detail is too small.
Secured Beaded Sleeves: Full-length, off-shoulder beaded sleeves that feature internal grip at the top. This critical detail ensures the sleeves stay perfectly in place without slipping.
Custom Removable Details: Detachable sheer sleeves attached seamlessly to the original spaghetti straps. New custom buttons were created from fabric remnants.
Floating Flutter Sleeves: Delicate flutter sleeves with cascading lace, strategically placed and secured to ensure the lace detailing flows naturally and doesn't weigh down the sheer fabric.
Stretch Lace for Movement: Detachable stretch lace sleeves were sourced to almost identically match the gown's lace, ensuring the bride has a full range of motion and comfort throughout the day.
Seamless Back Coverage: A full back-fill makeover using lace illusion, providing support, coverage, and a beautiful design element. The final result looks like the gown was designed this way originally.
Front-Fill Redesign & Collar: The bodice was taken apart to fill the front and create a new neckline and collar effect. The entire front of the dress was recut and reconstructed to incorporate the new design.
Coverage, Modesty & Expansion
Filling In

This is the designer's solution when a gown needs more coverage or a more comfortable fit. Aga expertly adds fabric, lace, or beading to raise necklines in the front or back, or creates beautiful, permanent or detachable modesty pieces. If a dress is too small, Aga can even take it apart and strategically add an expansion panel to make the gown bigger and wider, ensuring a perfect fit without compromise.

Invisible Expansion Panel: When a dress was far too tight to zip, a specialized panel was inserted into the sides using fabric from the hem. The panel was fully structured with interlining and boning, making it an invisible, original part of the dress.
Custom Modesty Panel & Cuff: The train was shortened to provide fabric for a custom panel that raised the armpit and neckline, preventing gapping and creating a clean cuff/collar effect.
Neckline Reconstruction: The train was again shortened to provide the necessary fabric to re-cut and re-construct the entire front of the dress. The delicate original lace was then seamlessly applied to the new neckline.
Hand-Beaded Modesty Panel: A custom beaded modesty panel was created to raise the neckline. This complex work required hand-beading and taking in the gown along the center-front while adjusting the beadwork to maintain perfect symmetry.
Neckline Conversion: This dramatic redesign took the dress from a high boat neck to a flattering strapless design with thick shoulder straps. The entire bodice was redefined and custom-fitted.
Reshaping & Redesigning Necklines
Cutting Away

This service is for lowering and modernizing a dress with excess fabric or a high neckline. Aga precisely reshapes and lowers necklines (both front and back) and can redesign the entire top of the dress. This complex work often involves meticulously removing illusion mesh or repositioning delicate lace appliqués to achieve the bride's perfect aesthetic and minimize coverage.

Lace Rework & Repositioning: The original lacework on the top of the dress was completely reshaped. Aga cut away the mesh and repositioned the lace for a more flattering and sophisticated visual balance.
Total Top Redesign: The gown was fitted and a completely new look was executed, converting the original top to a more open neckline with delicate spaghetti straps.
