Details:

Fit and Materials: The bodice of The Rachel Gown is meticulously constructed with an internal corset and four princess seams, designed to accentuate the waist and sculpt a flattering curve around the bust. The off-the-shoulder neckline is framed by a portrait fold-over collar, which widens into two triangular points at the center back. The back features a lapped zipper, completely concealed by tiny, custom-made silk mikado fabric-covered buttons and elastic loops. Inside the corset, an elastic waist stay enhances comfort and ensures the gown stays perfectly in place. A cleverly designed belt, adjustable to multiple settings, provides additional support and minimizes stress on the zipper. The full skirt, featuring box pleats along the waistline that align perfectly with the bodice seams, includes a built-in crinoline with hem lace trim for added volume. A horsehair braid inserted into the hemline adds weight and structure, ensuring a smooth drape and preventing the skirt from dragging. Practical pockets are discreetly incorporated into the skirt's design. The 3/4 length sleeves, cut on the bias for comfort and stretch, are also adorned with fabric-covered buttons. The back of the gown features a continuous line of these buttons extending down the center back seam and along the train. The gown is shown accessorized with a two-tier circle cut veil with a pencil trim edge. Custom veils in any shape and length are also available for order.
