Details:

Fit and Materials: The Alex Gown is fully lined and crafted from a luxurious ivory satin. The foundation of the gown is a supportive internal corset, designed specifically for plus-size figures, with strong underwire for optimal lift and shaping. The main dress features narrow spaghetti straps and a flattering swoop neckline both in the front and back. The skirt is a full circle, tea-length design, creating a beautifully voluminous silhouette. The entire gown is covered with two types of lace: a chantilly lace underlay and corded lace appliqués on top. The chantilly lace also forms an overlay, attached to the bodice, with a regular sweep neckline and 3/4 sleeves cinched with elastic above the wrists. The back of the chantilly illusion features a keyhole opening. The back of the gown has a lapped zipper, concealed by tiny satin fabric-covered buttons and loops. The waistline and hemline are trimmed with border lace, creating a belt-like effect and visually dividing the silhouette. The corded lace appliqués, featuring floral and leaf motifs, are strategically placed to allow for negative space, adding visual interest and encouraging the eye to move around the dress. The ivory satin beautifully showcases the white lace. A built-in crinoline with a lace trim hem adds extra volume to the skirt. The bodice of this dress is slightly shortened to flatter a petite figure but can be elongated to suit a taller frame.
